EFFA brand refresh

Progressive, relevant and a catalyst of change

Environmental Film Festival Australia (EFFA) has been operating in Melbourne since 2010 and its key mission is to showcase great cinema and art that celebrates nature, flora, fauna and wildlife, champions the people, organisations and projects protecting the environment.

EFFA takes place in Melbourne in October, with several smaller events being planned year-round.

To celebrate its tenth year in operations in 2020, the organisation decided to refresh its brand. The new brand mark was refreshed and simplified for longevity. Its bold and confident execution demonstrates authority and engagement. The logo is strong and affirmative, contemporary in application without losing its core identity. The visual system connects the viewer with the issues at hand and portrays EFFA as progressive, relevant and a catalyst of change.

An official style guide was developed and a colour palette was also devised to be used across EFFA’s marketing campaigns, collateral, website and social media channels.
